The EPA needs to F off----I mean really, just how much pollution is a bike going to pump out as compared to a V8 powered tank-or some really old beater? And its so funny, that running thru the emissions is only a 2 county requirement--I just see it all as another way to pick your pocket.

I had an old 3 Cylinder car once-it failed emissions by just a small amount in one area-made me spend money I didnt have at the time for repairs-the emissions guy then claimed one of my hoses was missing, this was because he spotted an open hookup--I had to get the mechanic to go with me to explain to the jerk that there IS no line to hook to the position unless I had optional equipment--they really were NOT going to pass my car.

This sucks http://www.policypitch.com/bills.php?bill_id=33

Going through that page the bill was indeed amended to July 1 2012 (from July 1 2010). So it is 2 more years of motorcycle emissions testing. Lame. I can understand both sides of the issue on just about all the other stuff our government was spending time on instead of balancing the budget, but seriously, who really thought it was important to make sure we keep testing motorcycles?
